Nissan Announces 2011 Xterra Pricing

Nissan introduces the 2011 Xterra with a new top-of-the-range model, the PRO-4X, along with prices for the X and S trim levels. As the name implies, the PRO-4X is a 4WD model and is available with either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.

All 2011 Nissan Xterra models are powered by a 4.0-liter, V-6 engine producing 261 horsepower and 281 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to either the manual or automatic transmission depending on model. The 2WD X and S models are only available with the automatic, as is the X 4x4, while the S 4x4 offers either transmission. The Xterra retains design features aimed at outdoor enthusiasts, including an easy-to-clean cargo area with tie-down system that includes 10 cargo hooks and an optional first-aid kit. Xterra offers technology to go along with practicality, including Bluetooth hands-free phone system, XM Satellite Radio and an eight-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system with subwoofer. Xterra's extra utility makes it popular at used Nissan Manassas.

In addition to dual-stage front air bags, Xterra’s standard safety features include stability control and antilock brakes. Front side-impact and side curtain airbags are also standard. The S model’s standard features include step rails, first-aid kit, cargo net, alloy wheels and roof rack crossbars.
