Nissan Announces 2011 Pathfinder Pricing

Nissan has released prices for the 2011 Pathfinder and announced a new Silver Edition to mark the 25^th

anniversary of the vehicle’s introduction, which brings the number of models to five: S, SV, Silver Edition, LE and LE V8. All but the LE V8 are available in either two-wheel or four-wheel drive; the LE V8 is only available with 4WD.

The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder LE V8 is powered by a 5.6-liter, V-8 engine producing 310 horsepower and 388 lb.-ft. of torque, while all other Pathfinders are equipped with a 4.0-liter, V-6 producing 266 horsepower and 288 lb.-ft. of torque. The LE V8’s power helps that model achieve a maximum towing capacity of 7,000 pounds. Pathfinder’s fully boxed, steel frame is based on the same design as the full-size Nissan Armada. Standard are three rows of seats with seating for seven and options include heated steering wheel, navigation, 9.3GB music hard drive, Bluetooth phone system and XM Satellite Radio. The growth in Pathfinder's sophistication mirrors that of the SUV's buyers, a Richmond Nissan dealer says.

The Silver Edition’s special features include 16-inch alloy wheels, Bose audio system with 10 speakers, XM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, smart key, heated front seats and leather interior. Powered by the V-6 engine and five-speed automatic transmission, the Silver Edition is offered in either 4x2 or 4x4.
