One of the biggest changes for the 2010 370Z is the addition the $500 price increase for those that opt for the seven-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Auburn Nissan is particularly excited about the addition of the 40th anniversary limited edition model. Nissan Z buyers will have a few updated options to choose from says a Pittsburgh used Nissan specialist, including a new navigation system and heated seats mirrors. A new exterior color, “Black Cherry,” will also available.

Nissan Announces Several New Electric Vehicles

nissan leaf image As Nissan prepares to launch its highly anticipated Nissan Leaf electric vehicle, the automaker has also announced that the same technology will be finding its way into Infiniti vehicles as well by 2012. An electric commercial van is also under development.

At the Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn announced the company’s broad EV ambitions, as did numerous manufacturers at this year’s show. However, Bridgeport CT Nissan Parts asserts that promising a luxury car that balances style, performance, and zero emission helps Nissan standout from the slew of automakers bringing electric vehicles into the mainstream.

Electric vehicles have seen slow adoption as automakers struggle to make them reliable and profitable says one provider of Nissan car loans. But Nissan has quickly become one of the leading proponents of the technology compared with the range of green automotive technologies. Nissan will soon release the Leaf in late 2010 to the delight of new Nissan Washington DC shoppers, and the automaker hopes to sell around 150,000 units per year.

The new models should make Nissan a dominant player in the EV market. With its new NV200 commercial van, Nissan hopes to become a dominant player in the light commercial truck market as well, and with an electric powertrain it could become the commercial vehicle of choice for governments, delivery services, and even taxi services around the world.
